Finance Minister Arun Jaitleypresented the Union Budget for 2018-19 in Lok Sabha on Thursday. While many sectors expected a number of changes, the education sector did see some major favorable decisions.

As the budget session is on, FM proposed the idea of coming up with 24 new governments medical colleges by upgrading the existing district hospitals in the entire country. He further added that there will be at least one medical college for three parliamentary constituencies.
